Improving waze directions
Hi I noticed that on a bright day when I am going from west to east (morning) i can not see the color of the lights because of the shining sun. The same problem after noon when i am going from east to west. I would sggest that waze will knowtfy me in the car what is the color of the light (red, green yellow). Please e-mail me. Yehuda Kassif

When I use the voice commands it keeps saying the town and then "island"!
See the title. The voice commands are great but why does it say the name of the town and then "island" and ask if that is correct?

Off Route
It would be beneficial to have Waze alert you when you are (miles) off of your route. Maybe if you get like 5 or less miles off route it alerts you. I ran into this issue while traveling with the sound off because I was on the phone. I would have noticed a pop up...

Background traffic info collection
Waze seems to have problems detecting traffic fast enough in zones where it isn't heavily used. In these zones other navigators simply do better in what Waze should be the king.
A solution might be adding an option to allow Waze collecting anonymous info such as user speed, location and direction even when closed, as a background service, to help increase traffic accuracy.
This way everybody with Waze installed can contribute to increase traffic accuracy (instead of just those who have the app actually running).

Create tours by driving a route and saving it and then be able to email it to family and friends.
By creating and saving tours that you can email or replay you can send them to family, friends, or business associates and have them tour a location or route to show them the best the area has to offer. Realtors could use it to show homes and neighborhoods to prospective buyers.

use voice directions based on signs
voice navigation (following waze's directions by ear, without looking on the screen)
as I understand, currently the orders are given by street name, this may cause difficulties in situation where route that should be driven has tottaly different naming and signs (happened to me...). my suggestion is to make a consideration in sign when defining the voice navigation for each junction, or let us the users to add the street name that is seen on the sign.1 voteThanks for your feedback. Show priority streets. Am I driving on a street that has to give way, or a street where I have priority?
Could be colour coded, or just an on screen sign telling you to give way
