voice regonition
It could be nice if the app had built it vocal recognition. Instead of looking your screen to report an incident, for exemple, you could say: "ok waze report an object on the road". It would be much safer and the accuracy of the incident on the road would be better because this method would be quicker that reporting on your phone while driving.

Option at drive later to enter your starting time
Install an option where you can see at drive later, not only when you should start, but when you know when you can start, how long the trip will take, like in google maps ;)

Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

IPhone App - Option to only use navigation while using app
Pretty upset I only have two option for using navigation: Always or Never.
This makes me not want to use your app, even though I love it.

Stop keeping the GPS on at all time
Stop keeping the GPS on at all times you're killing my battery and data. No other app is using the GPS at all times constantly except you. This is ridiculous and I'm thinking about deleting the app and switching to Google Maps. Please provide a solution or a fix to this giant issue.

Partial fix for website and Live Map
Your site would work a lot better if when you click Live Map, it did not try to show you the WHOLE USA! Either have it open to a .jpg/.png or nothing. Then ask for a zip code or region. It is simply too much for the servers to handle. On zooming in, it is still too much and it will not let you continue to zoom in until the page loads.

Get directions from Map Coordinates
Hi,
My name is Adrian Șulumberchean and I am the developer of Map Coordinates Android App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sands.mapCoordinates.android&referrer=utm_source%3Dwaze_suggestion). Inside Map Coordinates, I used a "Get Directions" option which takes the user to a third party navigation app and navigates him to the chosen location.
At the moment I use this url to open Google Maps Navigation: "http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=&daddr=45.1234,25.1234". Can you please also accept this url so that users will be able to navigate with any app they want?

Improve routing.
Sometimes just because it shows a "faster" route, it doesn't necessarily mean it's safer. When using the app while driving with a ridesharing companies, is very important the routes takes you to traffic lights instead of cut corners through back roads that might lead you to either cross a heavy trafficking road or having to make a turn on a trafficking road/ intersection. Customers don't enjoy that too much because not only it's not that safe but also for them, it doesn't seem to be any "faster". Can you PLEASE, add a "While Using App" option
If you could please enable the option to set the location services to "While Using App"
It benefits the user by not needing to actively remember to disable the location services constantly after each trip.
Thus causing it to become a nuisance and development frustration when the app ends up using a chunk of battery during the expedition of each trip. And also when no one is accessing the app, but it's still using data and power either way.
Majority of users have talked about this through other similar posts yet we have seen no such update that has included…1 vote -
Use more straight roads
Very often instead of travelling on a straight road, waze often turn into small roads and later exit on to the same road further down in order to save a minute or two. What actually happen is , the time save is negligible, considering the difficulty in exiting the side road onto the main road. Sometimes it take considerable time and danger doing that, especially if you are turning right. It would be advisable to travel straight, unless it is a standstill massive jam. I have been using maze on Melbourne roads and it always try to use smaller roads…

Voice reporting
It's dangerous to take your eyes off the road to tap the phone. Simple, single word utterances could be made for each button on the screen so reporting could be both timely, and safe.

Ficou bom a notificação/lembrete
Ficou muito bom a notificação/lembrete de ligar os faróis quando iniciamos um percurso.
Mas seria muito importante que além de notificar e dar um pequeno barulho sonoro, esse lembrete de ligar os faróis fosse "falado", assim como vocês falam avisando que tem radar a frente.

Fuel prices - South Africa
In South Africa we have very regulated fuel prices. This means all fuel stations have the same pricing. The app asking to update prices is pointless. It still asks every time I fuel up.

Hi, congratulatios, your app an ios is amazing, but iphone use a lote of Battery every time, then i think would be a great idea, use gps just when i use, not all time. Because when i dont use app my Battery is lower very fast.
