Great news! The feature about auto detecting the traffic congestion is now available in Waze. Install the latest app version to check it out.

Speed limit would be crucial. It is honestly the only thing holding this near perfect app back. Users could even upload limits as thy change
Users could post speeds as they change on roads and can be confirmed by users traveling on the same roads as a pop up which could then be turned off in options if a user doesn't like it. Only thing holding this near perfect app back

return around me screen from previous version. People do a lot of local unplanned trips without setting a route or ending location
I travel local I have no idea route I'll use and do not have time to establish a route. previous version of Waze showed all reports located in my area

Thank you for your suggestion! As you may already know, a live map is available as a web version, which you can use to see real time traffic reports. Search for Waze live map.

Sound Alert Icon
Have easy access to sound alerts with icon not only when sound is turned off, but at all times so you can quickly and easily change it.

Post the current speed limit when using the speedometer feature.

Speedometer is currently fixed at bottom left corner and does not interfere with Reports button.

Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already has Motorcycle Mode included in the app. To change your vehicle type, tap Settings > Car Details > Vehicle type.

CALENDAR & NOTIFICATION INTEGRATION
OK, so say you work in Beverly Hills, but you have a meeting in Burbank. Depending on traffic and time of day, that drive could be 20 minutes or 90 minutes. What if you could tell Waze when you wanted to be at your location in Burbank, and it could monitor traffic and routes throughout the day, and ALERT you when it was time to leave the office for your meeting? That would be awesome.

Good idea is to add the option to chose critical overspeeding threshold (in km/miles like 2-5 mph for 70 mph speed limit or use percentage). Flash (with sound) the screen when overspeeding or near of overspeeding occurs. And double/multiply earned points for safe and active drivers :) in dependence of time slot like a rush hour or happy hour or last week :) hope it helps!

My Ford navigation system shows the posted speed limits as I drive through them. It would be nice if WAZE could do that!

To be on time at work every day !
Objective : Alert users to leave earlier if trouble on a standard/daily trip (Home - Work)
Every morning, from monday to tuesday, I take my car to go to work.
I must be at work at 9:00 AM.
When no trouble on road, I leave home at 8:20 AM.
I would like to set my home-work route, including at what time I must be at work. So that, even if I am offline, Waze notifies me when it is time to go : if traffic jam appears or accident, Waze could warn me to leave earlier to be on time…1 vote -

Speed Limit & Notifications
It would be great if the App could tell you what the current speed limit is.
Also, if there was a way so that you can block out all notifications on your phone so as to not be distracted by texts, alarms, etc. while driving.

Improve Waze by allowing me to change my home address - now it says I live in TX - I don't.
I tried to put in my home address but your App chose TX not CA

1 voteEasiest way would be to update your home address directly from your home – select ‘Edit’ home address and then choose ‘Current location’.

Live Web Feed Of Incidents For Selected Areas
Working with the Florida Highway Patrol, our Computer Aided Dispatch program feeds all traffic incidents, road blockage, etc to our website for public view. I'm sure other agencies have features like this as well. I think being able to take this data and feed it into Waze would make a huge difference. Who monitors a website while on a road trip?
I also think having a way for staff in a Traffic Management Center or Emergency Communication Center to be able to monitor a feed of incidents in their specific area could be an extremely valuable tool in helping to…
