modify navigation to Bombo Headland and Quarry
After recently speaking to sightseers looking for Bombo Headland while walking from Darien av I asked them what navigation tool they use. The name Waze came up. Sightseers navigating with Waze to Bombo Headland and/or Quarry are taken into Darien avenue, a residential street. I have recently successfully modified Google maps to direct navigation to the carpark at Bombo Beach which is the intended direction from Kiama council and is closer to these wonderful sightseeing places. Hi there Darius, I am please to tell you local Waze editors have corrected the route to the car park at Bombo beach. This will update in the app in the next few days, and you shouldn't see any more visitors using your road.
You live in a stunning part of Australia, I can see why the tourists go there. -

Today a mini van with 20 people came down the street that uses the Waze navigation app. It was a tourist company with chinese that have never been to Kiama before but used the Waze navigation to look for and find Bombo Headland. Please fix the navigation so that they are taken to Bombo Beach carpark. By the way, more than 50 cars came down this street today that were not residents. I was able to quiz some of them and they all used Waze. This residential street is not built for medium or high traffic flows as it is effectively a one laned road with residents cars parked one each side for most of the road.
