One Speed Camera (or similar) for various segments/roads...
Speed Cameras...
Currently, when a speed camera is cataloged on the map, it only serves the way/segment in which one driver/Wazer travels, being placed in the direction of traffic, acknowledging its presence in the app about 500 meters before.
However, there are access ways to the main road where that camera is located, access ways that are "within" the speed camera's angle of the main road and access ways where the speed camera does not "beep" because it is located in another street/road...
At this moment, the only way to beep on the 2 lanes (or 3 or 4 lanes/streets/roads that eventually give access to the main...), is to place a speed camera for each lane that is covered by the speed camera... and in the app, 2, 3 or 4 speed cameras will also appear in the same place, parallel to each other, which doesn't make sense... and it will create confusion for drivers... since, in reality, only one camera "catches" 2, 3 or 4 lanes/streets/roads at the same time....
Here is one suggestion to improve the speed cameras' system in Waze: perhaps by arranging a way to place the roads covered by the camera, possibly something similar to the junction boxes or by adjusting its angle, so that editors can choose and implement the roads that should be detected, in Waze, by that camera...
thanks.

Quite the opposite, my fellow wazer / editor Nathan...
Waze cannot and should not teach driving... that's what driving schools are for... for those who go there to get their license...
What you want here is for Wazers to be alerted by the speed cameras / "radars" that are fixed and that everyone knows where they are, because they are placed by the city councils....
What happens in Waze, is that a speed camera points to only one road... and there are several roads where that camera "catches" in reality... a Wazer driving and approaching a "fixed" radar has and should be alerted to that fact... otherwise eliminate the radars from Waze! or the Police alert in Waze! or the alert of works in Waze...
There is nothing illegal here... just that Waze should find a way for the "fixed" radars to be alerted to anyone approaching them... in my city alone there are more than 40 fixed speed cameras...
I hope you have now understood what is intended!

Disagree if URs feel the need know exact behaviour of cameras likely they are not observing the road rules suggest this would be considered enabling of illegal behaviour. Down voted.
