HI Thomas, Can you please describe a situation this would be useful. In Australia i know there are speed limits based on the type of Driver/Vehicle:
- It is illegal for L plate drivers to drive above 80km/hr regardless of the posted limit
- In some situations Truck Drivers it is illegal for truck drivers to drive above 90km/hr regardless of the posted speed limit. -

-1 (if i have understood correctly)
Map editors should be setting the speed limit on road sections approaching the speed camera at the sign posted limit speed. If you find a Waze speed limit does not match sign posted limit, use the Report button (Map Problem) to report that the Waze road speed limit is incorrect, and enter the correct speed limit.

+3 Agree.
Alerting people to the next Dual lane section of road being less than 10kms away (overtaking lane) . Will help reduce risks taken trying to overtake in less safe conditions.Nathan supported this idea ·

Disagree if URs feel the need know exact behaviour of cameras likely they are not observing the road rules suggest this would be considered enabling of illegal behaviour. Down voted.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

I think the police button is intended to report stationary police. Reporting of cars in transit will be helpful for only 3-5 min and it would not be possible to know route of car.
Happy wazzing!

The report button should appear
If not long press the screen near your position and route to it.Unless your asking to report something at a location on your drive, then yes agree a better solution is desired.

Not sure i have understood.
You have followed a route but the map is missing geographic features on the map and cannot route you all the way to destination.
The best way to handle this is drive the way you feel is best then report a map problem. The editor who fixes your problem will give you a link to show the routing instruction. And the route you took. You can then use map editor to update missing features onto the map

Unfortunately the best way to deal with this is get in the habit of setting the avoid tolls option every time you drive.

Possible already exists. Add speed camera in the are where police frequently setup mobile speed traps

Map editor: Could use the speed camera option. Only it doesn't give option to set it as mobile camera.

Already implemented for report crash or police. Maybe emergency services could be added.
1) emergency vehicles are fitted with LOUD sirens if you ear them you should be moving over
2) at any point on a map emergency vehicles will be present for 5min or less by the time the report is made would have passed
3)cannot predict reliably know the route of emergency vehicles.Suggested approach:
1) Get agreement from emergency services to publish their route on waze and alert users based on route.
2)Add emergency vehicle flag to the police flag.Agree a better solution is needed. But i don't think Waze can fix the issue.
Could you please describe how the driver would make use of this information. Its not clear what your requesting. (Describe the steps the driver would take when referring to the destination) what type of driver (private, taxi, truck etc)
