BUS/Motorcycle Lane
Add the option to mark a lane as a BUS lane.
If we have 3 lanes -> Turn left | Front | BUS
We cannot give exact information to the user, because we can only show 2 lanes, because we cannot display the BUS to not mislead the driver.
In Portugal, motorcycles can ride on the BUS lane, so it also helped motorbike drivers a lot
Hey!
Thank you for this suggestion.
This is not a priority for the team at the moment and we won’t move forward with it.
We encourage you to keep on coming up with great suggestions
Best,

I think this is critical to properly represent the roadways. We have tones Bus or transit only roadways and lanes and right now it’s very confusing when I driver sees a road but it’s not on waze

I have a three-lane road with two left-turn lanes and one straight. The middle lane is a bus lane during certain hours of the day. I have that restriction set:
https://waze.com/editor?env=usa&lat=45.47305&lon=-73.59787&zoomLevel=19&segments=518566383
But Waze is ignoring that restriction for the middle lane and displaying two lanes for the left turn when the restriction is in effect (no screenshot, but it happened to me today at 4:30 p.m.).

Just having the option of a "dummy lane" that stays greyed out would help greatly in the US where there's lots of times a bus-only lane that regular Wazers can't use but certainly adds to the total lane count.

@YogiJB Yes, but it appears as just another normal lane. That is not preferred when the lane shouldn't be used by most drivers. We would like to have a specific marking to indicate that the lane is a bus, motorcycle, HOV, etc. lane.

I'm not yet at the rank to do lane guidance, so I might be wrong, but I believe this is possible.
You'll need to start with adding a reserved lane on the segments (e.g. HOV lane / public transit lane) and then it should appear in the lane guidance interface./edit: programming more and more LGA, this is really an essential thing to not have segments pop up as "problematic" in the LGA scripts. Having the option to simply set a "reserved" symbol (e.g. ♢ ) is really needed.
