We plan to work on the display of traffic lights, stop signs and other important road signs in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedIt's been asked very often to have a truck option, but Waze HQ always replied that it's not a priority for them and - at the same time - they find that it's a big liability issue. It takes a lot of effort to enter all the information for weight and size restrictions for the entire Waze database. And they are afraid they will be responsible if a vehicle gets stuck because information is flawed / out of date / missing.
But I agree I'd love to see the feature too. I occasionally have to drive trucks and there is currently no real low-cost GPS option with trucking routes.

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedThis would seem useless at minimum, dangerous at worst.
Vehicles that would enter roads closed to the public would know where to present and ignore GPS instruction. If there is a bypass, it would invite users to drive into closed-down areas that aren't allowed to go there.
This is outside of the scope of Waze. -

We are looking into this suggestion's feasability and will update when we have some answers.
An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedIt's already available in Lane Guidance, but that's a R4+ feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment YogiJB commentedAn undo button could be beneficial for new users experimenting.
However, there are good reasons why random users can't put reports on locations where they are not currently located (avoid abuse.) Trusted map editors can request permission to edit the reports map, though. -

Hey!
Thank you for this suggestion.
This is not a priority for the team at the moment and we won’t move forward with it.
We encourage you to keep on coming up with great suggestions
Best,

You'll need to start with adding a reserved lane on the segments (e.g. HOV lane / public transit lane) and then it should appear in the lane guidance interface./edit: programming more and more LGA, this is really an essential thing to not have segments pop up as "problematic" in the LGA scripts. Having the option to simply set a "reserved" symbol (e.g. ♢ ) is really needed.
@Mike: Not sure where you are looking for purple lines, but often purple roads indicate highways. Waze uses colours for classification of roads.
