Yes this is very important i face same problems when i go through villages crossing countries and lose internet because of roaming i'm very screwed up! This needs a fix immediately, we need to be able to store offline maps !

Mas a é haver a hipótese de viajar sem ser controlado, sem ser espiado... É muito possível que não entendes o que estou a abordar, e apenas segues uma AGENDA. Exactly the same reason I left. But they don't truely care about our opinions. It should have been integrated into the program from the start

The only reason why I have not completely stopped using Google maps is because this one feature was somehow overlooked. It's not fun to be out in the middle of no where when your signal drops and your only way out does too.

Possibilidade de mesmo estando sem rede, poder notificar alguma coisa. Por exemplo, em viagem, alguns locais não possuem cobertura da operadora que uso, logo o app poderia aceitar a notificação, armazenar localmente o local(posição geográfica) onde foi feito e assim que a rede voltar, apenas atualizar para a rede.

As many of the places in this country have got no signal whatsoever. Waze needs to download the map offline and calculate/recalculate routes.
Basically what Google Maps is now.

I know you can select your destination with Waze online and then disconnect from internet and then still go there but there aren't any route calculation so that's a problem.

Waze has better route calculations so it's better than Maps.

Many places in rural America still do not have cell coverage. I work in emergency services and while I prefer to use Waze on-line, when I get into areas without coverage, I need to have downloaded maps for our entire county present off-line. Waze is my preferred mapping system but it forces me to go to something else because of the lack of available off-line maps.
