Several cities around the world have a real-time feed of available spaces in their parking lots.

It would be really relevant to be able to have it in Waze so that we can be guided directly to the city center or bus/tram hub. Currently Waze allows you to get around perfectly, but concretely, once you arrive in town, it does not help you to park, so the purpose is not achieved in a certain way. It’s also a matter of sustainability. Waze should help for less time and gaz wasted.
Morover many cities with real time feed have digital screen to show availables parkings, but then, should we follow Waze, or the city's directions ? With the same datas, Waze keep the wheel.

On the Google forum, speakers from Brazil, the Netherlands and France asked the same question. We have an api with a json feed updated by the minute.

Also Strasbourg, Luxembourg, etc…

So Waze could use historic form datas and foreseen avaibilities. And in real time guide cars to the best parking lot with some kind of prediction, putting aside full or almost full ones.
