Please add an option in the settings that allows users to select the notification distance for police and speed camera alerts. Ideally, this would let us choose a specific number of kilometers (or miles) before the reported location where the warning should appear — for example, 1 km, 2 km, 5 km, etc. This would function as an "early warning" system that the user can customize based on their preferences and driving conditions.

Why this would be useful:

It gives drivers more time to adjust their speed safely.

It allows users to tailor alerts to their driving environment (highway vs. city).

It reduces distraction by avoiding alerts that appear too early or too late.

It puts more control in the hands of the user, which aligns with Waze's community-driven philosophy.
