One improvement I think would be worth implementing in Waze is offering a true-to-scale map view option, in addition to the current zoom feature.

In some situations, especially when driving within cities, I find that the map is zoomed out too far, making it difficult to see the details of roads, intersections, and nearby access points. This can make navigation less intuitive, especially in areas with many streets close together.

My suggestion would be to allow users to choose between the current view, with adjustable zoom, and a true-to-scale mode, which would maintain a more accurate representation of distances and make it easier to understand the surrounding area.

This option could be configured by the user, while maintaining the current functionality for those who are already accustomed to it.

I believe this improvement would be especially useful in urban areas, where being able to see streets and intersections more clearly can make a big difference in navigation.
