Exempt from Traffic Restrictions / Rodízio" toggle for users with disabilities (PwD)
Many cities around the world, like São Paulo (Brazil), implement license plate-based traffic restrictions (known locally as "Rodízio"). Currently, Waze allows users to add their license plate to avoid restricted zones.
However, drivers with disabilities (PwD / PcD) are legally exempt from these restrictions. Waze currently forces these users into alternative, longer routes even though they are legally allowed to drive through the restricted areas.
I would like to suggest a global feature: a permanent "Exempt from Traffic Restrictions" toggle under the Navigation / License Plate settings. This would be a game-changer for accessibility worldwide, ensuring that users with disabilities get the fastest, most efficient routes without being falsely penalized by the app's routing algorithm.
