The navigation voice in Waze is very repetitive and dull. Even the "funny" voices options are funny maybe on the first ride - but further on they become dull, even annoying. My suggestion is to vary the voice instructions, not only in the beginning/end of the ride - instead of repeating the same phrase "turn left" for example - to have 10 alternative versions of the same instruction. You can add jokes or comments on driving in between, when there is a long pause between the instructions. I truly believe it can even save lives and prevent the driver drom falling asleep and keep him more alert. It is also much nicer for the mood, when you have this "companion" for your drive, and not mechanical repetitive instructions.
By the way, consider making this optional; for example "talkative" version vs. basic version.
Lets take for example "turn left in 400 meters" instruction, you can vary it;
"Don't forget to turn in 400 meters"
"Left turn expected in 400 meters"
"You're going left in 400 meters"
"In 400 meters go to the left"
etc...
