Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

I do PREFER Waze native TTS voice to the native TTS voice in android.
Hearing the native TTS android voice employed by Google maps tempts me to violence to my own phone. Yes, native android TTS voice is that horrific.
