   Share heavy traffic and standstill traffic reports with city and state officials. Urge them to take measures to improve traffic flow. If necessary send officers to find cause of traffic issues, and direct traffic if necessary.
   Pothole reports could go directly to local or state road repair crews.
   Accident reports could go to local police or highway patrol.
   I find that more and more people now use backroads, which makes them less and less desirable alternatives, and impacts the residents who live on those roads. Traffic is becoming a nightmare.
