It seems like Waze should be able to prompt you when something changes significantly on your route in real time and prompt you to choose whether you should stay on current route or select a new one.
For example. I enter a destination and choose a route. It will take an estimated 30 minutes to get there. Along the drive, say 10 minutes in, Waze can now see (because of traffic or an obstacle) that the current route will now take 45 minutes. It would be great if this triggered Waze to notify me of the change and to ask me if I would like to select a different route.
This could be subject to a threshhold (maybe a customize-able or select-able option) where say it only tried this when the route time changed by 25% or more or perhaps 50% or more.
