It would be nice to be able to set a "sticky" or "pinned" start location for planning and then every search thereafter will reference that start location until you "unpin" it.
When scoping out an area for nearby points of interest and drive times (such as when planning for a business trip, considering buying a home, etc.), Waze is very confusing and difficult to use. You can tap "set as starting point" and then search for nearby grocery stores, for instance, but it will search near your current location instead.
