    Not once did I managed to catch a ride from one place to another by WAZE.
    Just I'm posted notification about a problem on the road with a request for a ride to another place

    Of course with notification was attached photo, a caption with my exact location and my phone number.
    Believe it or not out of 4 times 3 people came back to me because it was they direction . :)

    So why you'r just not make another notification especially for lifts on Waze?
    Think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
