Often there are legitimate reasons why you pass a destination intentionally. It could be because you can't find parking directing in front, or there is a traffic issue preventing you from stopping. It could also be construction or an incident when the police wave you past your destination.

In this case, Waze should offer the option of keeping your destination active so you can navigate your way back to where you have to go.

I recommend a quick pop-up allowing you this option. Something like:

"You have passed your destination. Do you wish to keep it active and navigate back to it? YES | NO"

When this happens, users have to scramble to pull-over and reprogram the destination. Adding this feature makes Waze more adaptable to situations which occur when driving in the real world.

This is the one feature that could drive me away from Waze. You can't input directions while driving because it's not a safe practice, but Waze wants you to take a picture? Stupid!
