Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not right now, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.
Thanks!

McNicoll Ave. west of Victoria Park (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) has been narrowed down from one lane east and one lane west to just one lane (due to construction or whatever), so cars going in the opposite direction have to take turns in using the only lane that is left - first all the cars going east wait, then all the cars going west wait. This has been going on for many months. There is no way to indicate this particular situation in Waze, but people have indicated "construction" or something like "lane closures", or - can't Waze just see there is a permanent standstill there??
Yet, Waze keeps insisting I take that route. Most times, I trust it (thinking - maybe the lane reduction has ended), and end up wasting AT LEAST THIRTY MINUTES standing still on a stretch of the road that used to take 5 minutes to get through. Any other route I try taking gets me to my destination much faster (duh!)
Please fix this already! Otherwise, not sure I can keep trusting Waze to get me to my destinations faster than the alternatives.
Thank you.
