    Often times police hide where you can't see them when passing by, however the people traveling in the opposite direction can see them plainly. We need to be able to report that they are on the other side (opposite of my direction of travel) so as to warn the people coming in that direction that they are approaching a hidden police.

  2. When a vehicle is broken down in the middle of the road, we aren't able to report it or say which lane is blocked.
