If you have time to spare turn on Meander Mode and take the road less traveled. As we continue to get back to life as normal, post pandemic, we shouldn't forget the pleasure of free time, outdoors and the importance of supporting small local businesses.
Prior to the invention of the interstate there were small thriving communities throughout the US, but as we got into a rush we bypassed those places and settled instead for truck stops and fast food plazas. With Meander Mode you can choose how much time you have to discover and what you are interested in discovering (small businesses, scenic drives, historical sites, etc.)
Offer small businesses that receive some set amount of positive reviews a signal boost to potential customers. That encourages businesses to be outstanding, as well as local consumer engagement to boost their favorite local places.
The pie in the sky idea is that this leads to people spreading out again, moving to these small dying towns, and reinvigorating their economies and the nations economy as a whole. Allow the nation to become a melting pot once again, instead of a bunch of hollering in echo chambers.
