With rising temperatures and the increasing frequency of fires, especially during intense heat periods, it is essential that drivers are quickly warned about fire situations near the roads. Wildfires or vehicles on fire pose significant risks to road safety and traffic flow, potentially causing road closures and detours. Having a specific alert for this type of incident in Waze would allow for a faster response from drivers, helping them avoid dangerous areas and contributing to the timely notification and action of the relevant authorities. The goal is to prevent accidents and minimize the impact of fires on mobility and the safety of everyone.
