WME Client simulator
With each additional functionality on WME (Paths / Far-Lanes / Jubra / Junction box / lanes / ....) gets increasingly difficult to map. This makes it more likely that us map editores will make some kind of mistake or don’t take something into consideration. Having a way to preview the changes before they are live on the map will made both editors and client less frustrated, with a more accurate map.
Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

The suggestion becomes even more important now with the implementation of traffic lights!

May I add a follow-up to the suggestion?
I understand that building a simulator “from scratch” inside WME would be complex. So my proposal is that the simulator could instead run inside the Waze app itself.
What do I mean by that? The editor would use one of those secret debug codes full of @ and # to unlock a cheat that simulates movement as if the user were physically located somewhere else. Basically, the editor would define a start point and a destination, and then watch the movement on the phone screen at a fixed speed, exactly as if real navigation were taking place.
To me, this seems much simpler to implement. What do you think?

I concur the increase in sophisticated features becoming available in Waze does require some trial and error to get correct or optimised. While some of us can mock our GPS and simulate a drive, it would be ideal to be able to quickly run some sort of simulator and now with a new feature in beta this need will only compound.

Hi, a while ago I made a similar suggestion but it was rejected for being too complex, it's this one:

This would be extremely helpful!
It might also be useful for trouble-shooting problems like UR’s in situations where BOTG is not an option.

Agree. It will be super useful.

This is a great idea. It's often difficult to figure out how instruction will be in the app while editing complex junctions.
