Great timing! We’re currently working on adding a hotkey for map suggestion. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kathy Kendall commentedI agree -- it is a real pain to have to use the menu to toggle the Map Suggestions layer!

Great timing! We’re currently working on being able to select long streches of road. Keep an eye out for updates on the WME.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kathy Kendall commentedAnd it needs to be able to select the correct path, not just path with the fewest segments, as alt-click does.

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.
An error occurred while saving the comment Kathy Kendall commentedIt can be a real pain to have to reselect a group of segments, especially when there are small segments that you have to zoom way in to select. (And using alt-click to multiselect doesn't always work . . . )

An error occurred while saving the comment Kathy Kendall commentedIt might be good to limit the number of UR's per time period (maybe for R1 editors only?), also -- so they can't just drive down the road and drop them every mile or two. (That could bite us as editors, though, if we are doing BOTG. Sometimes BOTG requires multiple legitimate UR's in a small area.)
An error occurred while saving the comment Kathy Kendall commentedThis is a good idea . . . until it bites an editor who has a legitimate reason to drop a bunch of UR's in a small area, and is really frustrated by the lack of ability to do so. Maybe waive the limit for editors above a certain rank?
Right off hand, I can't think of what that reason would be, but it's sure to pop sooner or later.

I really like pasciakd's thoughts on this. Even though I don't work a lot of UR's, I have accidentally closed them prematurely.
And sometimes I've had UR's that needed to stay open for an extended period of time, but they don't necessarily need to keep showing up on UR reports.
It would be helpful if UR's that need to remain open for whatever reason (further troubleshooting, BUG reports, etc.), could be flagged some way (maybe a color change to blue or purple, or some other kind of marker) to alert other editors that it needs to remain open.
The flag could also serve as a marker to keep it off the list of UR's that need attention, keeping the numbers down on "normal" UR reports -- and allowing a separate report for extended UR's.

Thanks for supporting this suggestion! We've added it to the WME team's backlog, and hope to get to it in the near future. We will follow up here when we have an update, or need more info from the community.

Trying to edit anything under a filled-in area polygon is a major pain. I generally have to turn the Places layer off in order to accomplish anything.
