Temporary Speed Limits for construction
Allow editors to set Temporary Speed limits, similar to a closing, that will time out to the default, road set limit, after the time period has lapsed. It would be able to be set for the same time period as the closure, if desired, or during events, if necessary.

There are many temporary speed limits, e.g. in kindergartens and schools. These should also be displayed. Since the smartphones that are used for navigating all have a clock, the implementation shouldn't be that difficult. Also, there are often different speeds during the day and at night.

Good idea, with the exception of tying it to the time period of the road closure -- speed limits are irrelevant on closed roads.

With the new SL UR options, we editors are being inundated with SL requests on the interstates in construction zones. Previously "quiet" areas in PA are now lit up with SL UR's all along I-81 for example. This option would be extremely helpful in reducing at least the Interstate requests.

This is definitely necessary. Having to bug an L4 or L5 multiple times to change a SL and change it back is a burden. If we can simply ask once, and give an expiration date, that would give us incentive to actually set them, knowing they won't be forgotten for too long after the construction ends. There are too many ULs we have to address regarding construction zone SLs. This process needs to be made easier if we are actually going to set them in construction zones widespread.

this could be a GREAT benefit

I could also see a feature like this being used in school zones. Awesome idea!
