Hey,
Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

Thank you for this suggestion.
Setting the Car’s direction when starting the app and navigation is a known matter which will be addressed in the future.
There are many complexities in location tracking which cause this issue and hold us from providing a solution.
It’s currently on the back burner, but definitely a part of the backlog.An error occurred while saving the comment Hope it's implemented. Lots of the time, it suggest a very long route when all I need is to drive in the other direction. I wouldn't know if the other direction is faster though without actually driving in that direction hoping for the best

I don't know how it's not voted higher. This is a necessity in my opinion. I always drive far and get to a close parking spot just to find it's very expensive and another one nearby is much cheaper.
