In particular for women, but also for more people, travelling alone can be quite scary or even dangerous. Many navigation apps have options of choosing the fastest or the shortest route. A similar option that would select the safest route would be wonderful. A safe route (for walking/biking) would for instance avoid empty places without buildings such as parks, and would instead lead you through busy streets or housing areas. I think many people would be happy to have such a function, especially at night.
