    This is a great idea we think waze is excellent and were drawn to it because of the suggetion that it alerted you to up and comming speed cameras. But to have just an on screen message that a speed camera is near catches me out as I'm not looking at the screen so a voice alert would be great.

    This is a fantastic idea although it might only require ambulance and fire service comand centres to alert sat nav users. We were in solid traffic the other day and we could here the sirens. If we could actually see the emergency service vehicle on the waze screen then drivers could actually get off the road making way for them. When one car moves others follow.
