This morning I was routed through an extremely dangerous area and was extremely on edge. I was routed through certain areas of central Johannesburg, South Africa. For the local population this may be the norm, but as an elderly Caucasian or should it have a Caucasian female, this route is extremely dangerous. The chance of attack or hijacking is extremely high. Furthermore traffic rules are not adhered to, and driving itself is extremely hazardous and the chance of an accident is extremely high. Should the latter happen, the risk of violence, high jacking and robbery is greatly increased. There are no traffic lights at intersections as they have been cut down as perpetrators steal the copper cables. I am extremely nervous and concerned should my wife use Waze. Is there a way that I can program “no go” areas in the App?
