  1. You absolutely need to do this! Google maps lets me minimise the map so it is a floating window so waze stays open while other apps are open

    This is the best thing with Google maps, if I do something else on my phone I can still see my route and directions in Google maps..I would prefer this also for Waze. I always need to open the app for seeing the info or directions
