Dear Team, Please implement this 10-15 years old feature, as we are forced to use for example in Android Auto head units to use Maps.com ... That is a much worse navigation overall, but also has the right PIP option. Please.. a few lines in the code and add it to the newest manifest. That would be all. Not rocket science. Ridiculous that you blocked the vote button, not sure what is behind that you don't enable this!!! It would give much more security on the roads too, so it would just run as a resizable floating window and we would NOT need to touch the taskbar change buttons while driving and changing between eg dashcam and waze. Why waze cannot run above the dashcam view, just as Maps.com .

Having a widget for
Waze is high importance for the integration with these head units and the growth of tablet use for m/cycle gps. DMD2 needs a widget and I want to use Waze 👍 -

Please have the app designers enable app to draw over other apps when you minimize it. It does play in the background well and call out alerts. In app permissions settings you can turn on draw over other apps but the function doesn't execute.

Multi-Destination and pip are absolute no-brainers for Waze
It's pretty shocking they haven't been implemented yet, given that Waze has a more professional user base than Google Maps, when used in the app form eg. by drivers, couriers and taxi drivers

The one thing that keeps me from using Waze as my primary is that it doesn't have PIP like Google Maps... This has been suggested before, but long ago enough that I can't vote for it anymore.
