This is a brilliant idea, turning drives into interactive learning for kids, much like Pokémon GO got people exploring on foot. I Spy puzzles, neighborhood spelling games, and crowd-sourced challenges from other Wazers could make every trip educational and fun. On a related note, if you're looking for another engaging driving experience, I recently came across https://frlegndsmodapk.com/, which offers unlocked cars and tracks, a great example of how mods can transform any journey into something exciting. Hope your project gains traction!

    Hey,

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Not planned since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Thanks!

I completely agree with this suggestion. Forcing users to take a photo before adding a place discourages contributions in bad weather or poor lighting. Making photos optional and allowing camera roll uploads would definitely increase map coverage. I often take better photos later and would love to submit those instead of rushed ones. For preserving quality location photos, check out https://www.cameoglass.net/ for some great options. Hope Waze considers this improvement.
