Waze could identify what route is best for an EV, and suggest that, rather than time alone. People could go to work either by freeways or non-freeway. Non-freeway is best for EV battery conservation, and if time difference is low (or even if it isn't - leave that for the driver to determine), drivers might prioritise battery conservation over time conservation, especially if the EV has regenerative braking. Can ‘battery conservation’ be selected instead when determining the "best route", given freeways use far more battery & are therefore more suited to petrol?

Given you can save “work” and “home” map references inside Waze, an on/off toggle option for each of these destinations inside the ‘Plan a drive’ feature could be added. When toggled on, time to arrive/leave can be chosen, as well as the days it applies to. This would mean not having to create a separate calendar for this purpose, especially given people don't need "Work" in their calendar every day.
