    I agree. The other night I was leaving Birmingham to head home and Waze told me to drive 20 miles in the wrong direction. I followed the GPS but it wasn't until I was almost home that I found the reason for the detour was that the motorway was shut.

    For changes to regular routes or changes to the obvious route having Waze popup with a brief reason for the change and an estimate of how much time will be saved along with a button to reject the change if the saving isn't worthwhile. would be great.
