Create a route is why I am here blogging. A way to create a route on a screen like the map editor map on a pc. Which then would load into your mobile app just like a destination except it being a route. Then the ability to share the route with friends would be a big hit for us motorcyclist and also for rally events when there is a group taking a predetermined route. It could also be used on vacations to choose a route that hits all the places you want to go including those nice back roads that offer great scenery. You could easily charge for this app feature/upgrade as most gps that offer this feature are quite a bit more expensive, and they don't have the road hazards that are even more important to us motorcyclist. I know our motorcycle group would use this, a lot of us are using waze now in our cars.
Dont limit it to bicycle!! This would be great for motorcycle rides and motorcycle / car events rallies. You also need to be able to share the route with friends. My example: We have a motorcycle group in which we do rides, you create a route share it with friends. Now there are several of you in a large group of riders with the route to follow. Now when you get separated by traffic you have several people with the route so you can all enjoy the ride.
