It's crazy there is currently no android auto or carplay app that supports riding to a gpx track. I know so many bikers are.wanting this.

i would love gpx support and proposing different roads on bike, liberty rider is awesome for this but don't have the speed radar detection of waze

It is not only for motorcycles!

It is a substantial feature for some users to use waze and not another app that support it!
We use some dedicated rute planner like "kurviger" for motorcycles and what use waze as navigation. It is no brainer.

Would love that feature, especially we already do have a motorcycle profile on Waze which usually works flawless

This would be a game changing feature for me and something that doesn’t currently exist in a CarPlay featured phone app. Stand-alone gps units allow this (and BMWs connected app, but that only works on the bmw bike).

Please consider making this an additional feature.

אני לפעמים נוהג, כמו רבים אחרים, עם אותה אפליקציה בפלאפון, ב2 רכבים שונים. ברכב אחד- אפשר לנסוע בכביש 6 -וברכב הראשי לא. האפליקציה פועלת כאילו אני תמיד נוסע עם אותן העדפות, אבל זה לא נכון- ברכב שיש לו מנוי לכביש 6, אני כן אשמח לקבל הצעות נסיעה משם - והרבה אנשים חולקים כלי רכב ולכן יש להם העדפות שונות. לדוגמה אופנוע- שאולי הוא מקבל מסלולים פקוקים לעומת רכב? אם כן- אז פרופיל "האופנוע שלי" יכול להיות רלוונטי כשאני בוחר לנסוע באופנוע. צריך להגמיש את החשיבה .

Quisiera sugerir una mejora, dado que uso Waze como navegador para coche y para moto, sería una buena idea poder cambiar rápidamente el tipo de vehículo de alguna manera.

Lo comento porque ya dejan claro que sí el vehículo es una moto, el cálculo de los tiempos cambia al de ir en coche.

Pero al estar usando coche y moto es una tortura tener que estar entrando en ajustes para buscar y hacer los cambios.

Podríais añadir en cada cuenta un registro de vehículos y dar la posibilidad cuando buscas una dirección de elegir si es moto o coche.

Yes! I have a car and two motorbikes.
The car is subject to London c-charge and ULEZ, the bikes are not. So I would take different routes. I would use motorways on one bike, but not the other.
A quick way of selecting which vehicle I’m using would be really useful.

I ride a motorcycle on my own and use a car at work. It's a good idea, when I turn on the waze, the applications ask always to choose if I'm in a car, or motorcycle (or another vehicle)

Uso Waze tanto de carro como de moto, é meio chato ficar mudando.

Gostaria de sugerir que implementassem a função de mudança de acordo com o dispositivo bluetoth conectado ao celular. Exemplo:
Se VW Audio (Bluetooth do meu carro) estiver conectado ele entende automaticamente que estou de carro.
Se Cardo Freecom2 (fone do meu capacete) estiver conectado ele entende que estou de moto.

Bluetooth em carro hoje é bem normal, em capacetes nem tanto e é caro, então poder ser também configurado:
Se VW Audio conectado - Carro
Se nada conectado - Moto.

Até mesmo para taxistas, que tem seu carro de passeio também. Mudar direto, Carro X taxi, Carro Y particular.

Enfim personalizavel de acordo com comportamento bluetooth.

Switching car/motorcycle mode shall also be able to switch navigation preferences. For instance, on motorcycle I prefer to avoid freeways. In care mode I look for freeways. In short, vehicle details shall be able to 'remember' navigation preferences of the user for the respective car/motorcycle mode.

Great idea, came here only for postig the same idea but googled for it first. Different cars with different vignettes and different fuel types, or even the same fuel type BUT different preferences (company car with fixed fuel card, own car without), different driving styes (i drive my mobile home much slower than my normal car thus motorways are much less important).

Indeed - this is really important. You may own several vehicles using different fuels or just drive several vehicles for some reason. This comes with different toll passes & exemptions, you may have a preferred petrol station for your business vehicle according to company rules, while you prefer a different petrol station for personal usage and so on.

I have car and motorbike and it is not easy to switch between in the app. It will be super if we can enable the question at the beginning :)

J’aimerais pouvoir en 1 clic sélectionner l’un de mes 2 profils habituels.
Je développe : en voiture je me mets en mode voiture et la seule variable sera avec ou sans péage. En moto, je me mets en mode moto sans péage - sans voies rapides.
Devoir retourner à chaque fois dans les réglages faut que des fois j’oublie de vérifier les paramètres ou des fois je fais des erreurs. Et réajuster en roulant n’est clairement pas une bonne idée.
Au passage, merci d’avoir ajouter l’éthanol
