When travelling on Interstate or State Highway, this is a useless alter. You could park 18 wheeler on the shoulder without creating hazard to the driver. There is plenty of room.
But I see the need when travelling in rural highways with only one lane of traffic.Need the ability turn off the this alert as an option.

If you were involved in accident, I believe that you have more pressing immediate needs than respond to an alert on Waze.

If you are using Waze to avoid speeding tickets, forget it. Most experienced driver use Waze and good radar detector in tandem, Even this might not help if you come across officer using Instant On. So pay attention.
But I would prefer warning to be a little louder.Rohn DeSilva supported this idea ·

Currently Waze will notify you when you have exceeded the limit. Even that sound is not loud enough.
But once exceed the limit, it never warns you again till you drop below the speed limit and exceed. What I suggest is that Waze warn the driver every 50 seconds you are driving over the speed limit.

Please don't. I bet there are million other voice options you could think of better than hers.
Her voice would be prefect for speed alert, nothing else.
