1. Enable full control in the app using voice only

   Add an option to interact with the app using voice control
   for instance :
   reporting an obstacle on the road using Siri/Google assistant,
   rerouting to a new destination while driving,
   share your location using a voice command.
   All these options should prevent the user from touching the phone while driving and decrease distractions.
   The convenience of using the app while talking only will increase the amount of users reporting , and interacting with the many options given in the app.
   This will lead to more credible information to be provided for the users.

2. Multiple waypoints

   When travelling to a destination Anna need to be there by a certain time, it would be useful when planning your trip if you could identify the time you must leave and know the time you should arrive at each waypoint. I’d picking up friends from multiple locations, you could tell each one what time to be waiting is multiple waypoints are allowed. Currently, I have to work that out manually.

3. China has an app... one day Waze will no doubt have the same functionality ;)

   I recently visited China. I'm not sure how it is done, and Waze cannot implement this on its own, but I suspect either their intersection robots have a transmitter or they never get out of sync (i.e. they have set times that never change. If it does, the app is automatically updated?).

   When you approach any robot, it shows you the time left before the lights change. Over here, I fear it will make people speed, but over there, people slow down. I can only imagine how much fuel (or battery power) is saved. And how it will contribute to the flow of traffic. This can possibly be linked to an automated transgression reporting system. I'm growing tired of people who ignore robots "because only they are late for work".

6. Enhance and simplify adding photos of a location

   Adding a new photo of a location (like a business) is onerous and clunky as it currently functions. Why make a Wazer have to re-enter the business name and entire street address when all you want to do is simply snap a photo and add it to the location that you have navigated to? That seems silly, redundant and time consuming. Oftentimes one has no clue what the exact business name is (as posted in Waze) or even the exact street address which one is forced to go look up online! This unnecessary extra effort dissuades Wazers from wanting to add new photos to help guide others. If Waze is going to only allow and restrict uploading of loc photos for the location currently being navigated to, then don’t ask Wazer to input redundant info. (For QA purposes (if that’s the reason Waze is doing this), if a loc photo is incorrect, allow Wazers to report that just like we would if there is a map issue.) Make the uploading of new loc photos simple, easy and a no-brainer. Also sometimes the function to upload a loc photo “times out” (ie if you don’t finish the upload process in the allotted time bc maybe you don’t have time atm to complete the photo upload process) and then the opportunity to upload a photo is lost bc Waze only allows you to upload a new loc photo only when you are RIGHT THERE at the destination location. Photos are a HUGE visual help to Wazers - the current functionality for photo uploads is onerous, unnecessary and really does need to be modified to make it be much more simplified, intuitive and straightforward.

7. Button customization on Waze with Android Auto & Carplay

   • My suggestion is for the following feature: Adaptive Button Placement/Customizable Controls

   • My suggestion solves this problem:

   • Convenience during Driving: Allowing users to position buttons based on the side of the road they are driving on could make the interface more convenient and accessible, reducing the need for awkward movements while driving.

   • Road Safety: Avoiding stretches and dangerous movements to reach buttons could contribute to safer driving, reducing distractions and improving focus on the road.

   • Interface Personalization: Allowing users to position buttons as they prefer could offer a more personalized experience, adapting the interface to individual preferences and enhancing overall user satisfaction.

   • Adaptation to Different Driving Contexts: In countries where driving is on the left or right, the ability to customize button positions could improve the usability and ergonomics of the app to accommodate various driving modes.

   • In more words:
   I frequently use Waze with Android Auto, and I’ve noticed that the buttons for destination search and hazard reporting are positioned on the opposite side compared to the driving side. I would like to suggest considering the option to customize the position of these buttons based on the side of the road the user is driving on. For example, in countries where driving is on the left, it might be more convenient to have these buttons on the left side of the screen, and vice versa, or even allow users to place them wherever they prefer on the screen.
   This not only would make searching and reporting more convenient but could also contribute to safer driving by avoiding hazardous movements during navigation!

11. Connecting collaborating WAZE with Emergency WA App - Perth Western Australia

    Department of Fire and Emergency in Western Australia (Australia) have just launched their Emergency WA app which provides information relating to incidents, hazards or emergencies. This includes alerts ranging from advice through to Emergency Warning for fire, flood, hazards which could require community to take certain steps. Emergency WA places a geo-fence for the affected area. Could WAZE consider connecting/collaborating with EMERGENCY WA App to enable users of WAZE to be informed during their travel, they are about to enter into an area so they could be better informed whether to proceed or take an alternative route or reconsider need to travel into that area in the first instance.

    This problem has happened many times: I enter a destination, and Waze calculates a route. Then I switch to another app for a few minutes. Then I switch back to Waze, and both my route and destination are gone! How frustrating!!

15. Flooding (Inondation): route modification

    More & more extreme climate phenomena occures. In this context, the current proposed routes are sometimes crossing flooded areas, which is sometimes impossible to go through. I would like to propose an evolution of the flooding alert to have two levels:
    - a first one indicating that we could face issues, but the routes is still valid (~ current alert)
    - a second one, indicating the road cannot be used & so generating a new route computation by Waze, to avoid it. (New)

18. please reduce the num of screens, before the map. it should be one click and that's it..... or at lease give an option in the preferences

    Hello waze, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that when I drive, I have to press several different buttons until I get the map. Please shorten the pressing associations. It doesn't make sense that I choose an address including a number, and then later it again directs me to the screen for all kinds of actions, and then when I click continue I get another screen, then another screen, and even then another button where I have to do now (obviously it's now , but when? Tomorrow)... as a driver, I don't have time to look at the cell phone and press 4 times, let me go immediately... sometimes I want to throw the phone away Route immediately, without clicking 700 times. Please, give an option, which will call the map now, without a million questions and buttons. Please, if someone wants to see all kinds of businesses from the map, they can Do what he wants...but the first thing I know about him, and talk to him about the Wise, is that he hates the app, just because you have to click 10 times, until you get to the map with The track... why is it like that? Please comment. It's also dangerous to click so many times.     Look at some digs, from the step after me that I chose as I was wondering and clicked...it is that the map with the route, it is only the fifth screen, that is 4 clicks in the middle...and that is just unnecessary...from the map the client will want, choose one of the screens marked here, but first of all show a map, Click on it and you will see the destination address

Enough, come on!!!! Who needs the 700 buttons you ask to press. Look at the map with the purple color, and where should I turn right now!!!! More than once because of all the connections, and these buttons, I burned a traffic light, or I almost had an accident, because I have to look for the **** button, to move forward in the process
