Special calculation and result for motorcycle despite traffic jam
Hi all,
Sorry I do not want to create a duplicate but rather synthesize the idea (other posts talked about but are not totally clear)
It would be cool to create a special motorcycle calculation, for big towns with big traffic jam (ex. Paris-France...) :
the faster way, whatever, even if cars are bumpers to bumpers.Because even if you ride slowly between cars, it remains faster than another way (excepted if road is closed by police or whatever).

speed / progress estimation
In areas where there is no GPS available, expecially in tunnels, what about a speed / progress estimation? This could be based on:
1) let's say.. 80%-90% of speed before entering a tunnel
2) if other wazers drove through that tunnel shortly before, you should know when they entered and left the tunel and so approximate the speed in the tunnel.This would have several advantages:
1) no "jumping" on map, no "jumping" in ETA (as now you stand at the beginning of the tunnel and then jump to the end)

Please add a voice command where I can mute and un-mute navigation guidance.
For the next Waze Update, please add more voice commands. For example include a voice command where I can mute and un-mute navigational assistance. Also, would it be possible to dictate the address of your next destination?
Does anyone else have any more suggestions for additional voice commands?

When I take a call when using waze, after the call ends I get the lock screen instead of goign back to waze.
When you recieve a call when using waze, after the call ends you get the lock screen instead of goign back to waze. it should go back to the map screen.
Also, there sould be a button to get to the dialer without leaving waze.

Do not lower or duck music volume whenever there is an announcement or prompt from Waze
Audio ducking or lowering music when Waze is making an announcement/voice prompt is freaking horrible.
Absolutely hate this forced feature as there is no way to disable it. It just spoils the whole driving and music experience.
Have separate volume adjustments for the background music app and Waze navigation volume. Or a toggle to disable/enable the ducking feature. So that music won't be forcefully lowered whenever there is a prompt or announcement.

Store Map Issues Until they can be reported.
In Rural Areas of the US but not only US cell data coverage sometimes can be problematic and connection may go in and out. When the user attempts to report a map issue the report can be filled out but submission goes to an error message: "Something Went Wrong" and the report and the information is lost.
This can create problems with issues reported in Rural Areas where there is definite evidence of use of Waze but very few reports even though there are missing roads or missing pieces of data for the existing roads.

Please add Siri Shortcuts support for hazard and police reporting in Waze on iOS
Please add Siri Shortcuts support for hazard and police reporting in Waze on iOS. This would allow users—especially those using CarPlay or driving hands-free—to report visual sightings safely and legally.
Apple Maps already supports this (“Hey Siri, report a speed check”), but Waze does not. Since Waze has the most active crowdsourcing community, this feature would significantly improve:
• Driver safety (hands-free hazard reporting)
• Community contribution (more real-time data from CarPlay users)
• Accessibility (voice input for users who can’t interact with the screen)Suggested implementation:

Indicate best lane on upcoming turns with multiple left or right lanes
I find myself still using google maps while driving in the city, because it gets tricky when for example, a right turn needs to be made quickly after a left turn, and there are two left lanes. Google maps indicates that the right left lane is the correct lane. I love everything else about waze and if this one feature was added, I would use it at all time and cut out maps completely!

Speed limit multiple beeps for alerts when speed limit is exceeded.
I would love to have multiple beep sound when you exceed the speed limit, different beep options would be nice for user preferences

Please add Settings Option to turn Auto-Zoom off
It's unfortunate that "Auto-Zoom" is the default, and only, choice. Please let the driver decide if he/she uses Auto-Zoom or not.

Waze features for Android Auto
It nice to know that Mercedes-Benz Navigation system able to detect Waze and display into the NTG5 features. Now I do not need to use Garmin map because of this. I would like to request the following features for Android Auto for improve experience
1. Compass display - at the moment, when navigating, you don't know whether were heading, to which direction. usefull to make sure the navigation didn't go into wrong direction.
2. Zoom features - to check overall nagivation direction

Android Auto App Background Too Bright.
On some Android Auto screens (like the Pioneer AVIC-F88DAB), the daylight map is too bright to see the roads clearly (they look washed out).
Please add option to change background and/or road colors for in-car screens.

Motorcycle mode
Please consider developing a motorcycle mode, where we could get all the usual Waze features but without being constantly diverted to routes with less traffic. We are not concerned by traffic! We ride between the cars. Especially in Paris, where it takes a quarter of the time it would take with a car, to ride from point A to point B.
Think of the parisians riders, who still want to use Waze for its great features but would like to be able to ignore the traffic alerts.

Por ter tornado se lei ter que ligar os faróis mesmo durante o dia nas rodovias, acho que o waze poderia nos alertar, para acendermos os faróis auxiando seus usuários para que evitem ser atuados com multas.
