current position
Some cases when the road not even exits, its impossible to add a position, so using the GPS, you can add current position like home or Job.

more screenspace ahead of the car in 2D mode
while driving in fixed North=up mode and in landscape the client could position the car/current location icon so that there would be more screenspace (and thus more useful information) ahead and less space (and thus much less useful information) behind the car

chit-chat posts to Twitter
It would be nice to be able to turn off the ability to post Chit-Chats to Twitter. I want to be able to report all the road conditions, but I don't feel my chats should go to Twitter and clutter it up more so.

Enable street numbering through iPhone client
Although the tutorial and online docs mention the ability to mark street numbers through the waze client using GPS, this is not available on iPhone.
5 votesIt is available – go to ‘report’ >> ‘map update’ >> ‘update house numbers’
Note: you can only update a house number for your current location. You can’t add house numbers to a different location.

Cancel traffic report due to bad GPS signal
Occasionally the client automatically creates a traffic load report (due to bad GPS signal?), even though the traffic is flowing freely. It would be nice to be able to cancel such a report.
5 votesYou can cancel a report that you have sent. You need to view this event from the list view (after pressing the ! with the events number next to it).
Then choose to show the options for this report, and ask to delete it. -
Bouton véhicule stationnement
Bonsoir,
Je vous fais part d’une idée à laquelle je pense à chaque fois que je perds ma voiture.. La position de stationnement sur Waze n’est pas toujours indiquée et c’est toujours quand je suis perdue qu’il ne m’indique pas où elle est garée, vous ne pourriez pas rajouter une épingle ou quelque chose comme ça sur laquelle on clique pour marquer l’emplacement et qu’on puisse le supprimer dès qu'on le souhaite parce souvent on ouvre l'appli pour voir combien de temps nous metterons d'un point A à un point B sans pour autant reprendre la route avec le véhicule…4 votesGreat thinking! Alertas no mapa
Observei que nem todos os alertas que existem no app estão disponíveis quando o usuário está usando o Apple CarPlay, como, por exemplo, erro no mapa.
Muitas vezes preciso tirar o cabo para desconectar do carplay para fazer um alerta.
Sugiro que todos os alertas disponíveis no app apareçam também no Carplay

ETA Only - no directions
Other mapping apps allow “ETA Only” choice. I know how to get to work. I don’t need directions. But, I’d still love getting an ETA and hazard warnings.

Gas price editor
I do not know if there is a function that allows advertised gas station prices to be edited by the user, but it has happened to me, twice now, that I come to a gas station that is supposed to sell cheap gas, but the price is grossly inaccurate. I would want to see options within the gas station interface where price corrections could be submitted and up/down-voted for their accuracy.

Just like you have ordinary gasoline and added gasoline in the fuel station options, I would like you to add Diesel, S10 and Biodiesel in the price options. Natural gas or GNV would be very com as well.

Spotify
Currently the Spotify panel is occupying almost 1/3 of the whole screen, obscuring the space much needed for map and navigation. I'd like to see simpler/shorter control, perhaos similar to the Spotify 4x1 widget on Android. Thanks
4 votesThank you for your suggestion! As you may already know, Waze is now integrated with several audio apps including Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn, iHeart Radio, Pandora and more. Just go to Settings > Audio Player and pick your favorite app.

Waze for Car Play
It would be nice to see Waze integrated into Car Play so it's easier to see while driving instead of looking down at the phone.

Voice
Love the app last time I suggested you guys some thing you almost instantly had it up and going which would have been the night mode thought of some thing else for you guys since I use you on a regular base and cops are getting bad on using phones while driving let's do like googles famous "ok google" but instead have a feature for Waze for reporting things instead of using our phones while driving "Wakey Waze" would be a kool idea for a catchy way to wake up the app.
Oh and out of curiosity any idea if…

Research and plan trips in advance from various locations
The app seems to have this feature, but only effective when using one's current location - of course I also appreciate seeing travel time lengths in advance. But the problem is: I often know I will be leaving from a different location A and traveling to another location B, and am unable to research and plan that trip on Waze.
(When I have tried the app's attemp at this feature, the app closes and it takes me to iphone's home screen..)

The Washington State Department of Transportation now provides real-time toll rates for the I-405 express toll lanes as a publicly available live data stream for software developers. The API is publicly available here: http://wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/api/ , along with several other live data streams including traffic flow, travel times, and highway cameras.
We would love to see this data integrated into the Waze app to help drivers make more informed choices about their route options.

Many drive with app open without navigation activated. And if we only can see on navigation road. We miss important Info. And if it is like now only showed on navigation road...then we also miss it if we make a quick detour . This is not good. Take old system back. WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT ? And…4 votes -
speed limit on roads + user defines "set max speed" alert/notification like speedometer bubble
Excellent recent update. Howerver, it would be such a helpful and nice addon where user can set max speed alert/alarm when it's reached. Plus posted speed limits on major roads/freeways.
