  4. Group travel sharing

    a new feature for Waze where users traveling together (in separate vehicles) can connect at the start of the trip. Once connected, each user can see:

    - Which route the others are taking

    - If someone has already arrived or how much time is left for them

    - Whether they are ahead of you or behind you

    This would be super useful for group road trips, events, or family travel — to stay updated without constantly calling or texting.

    Adding the ability to see the map and route for planned trips would be really helpfull when you want to see the ways you gonna ride
    Also, if you want to check the route from a location other than your current one, you can plan a ride and than change the destination but than you can't see the map.

However, I’ve noticed that it sometimes routes me through areas that are unsafe — which is especially concerning when I’m driving alone as a woman. Waze could be even more powerful if it included a feature that allowed users to flag potentially unsafe areas and create “avoid zones” for routing.     I would like to suggest a new feature for Waze that can assist during group travel, especially when there is no fixed destination or the destination is uncertain.

    In situations where two or more vehicles are traveling together (e.g., in a convoy or guided trip), Waze should allow one car to act as a guide vehicle and share its real-time movement path with other vehicles following behind.

    Must haves for future Waze updates 🇳🇱:
    - realtime ambulance warning when an ambulance approaches with lights and sirens on.

  20. Plan a drive

    I’d love to see more flexibility in the “Plan a Drive” feature. My work schedule rotates weekly — one week I work days, the next I work nights — and this type of schedule is common for shift workers.

    Currently, I have to manually adjust my planned drives each daily. It would be really helpful if Waze could support recurring drives with alternating times, for example:
    • Week 1: Leave for work at 6:30 AM
    • Week 2: Leave for work at 6:30 PM
    • Then repeat weekly

    Having an option for rotating weekly schedules or a custom repeating pattern…
