The new user interface looks childish, but more critically you guys seem that have forgotten that the primary purpose of Waze is navigation. There's an empty grey bar hiding the bottom 10% of the map, and whenever a road feature comes up the top of the map gets hidden, meaning that a full third of the map is obscured. A phone screen is small enough as it is - with a third of the map hidden navigation becomes really difficult! To top it all off, there's no way of getting rid of the top banner - there's just a greyed-out thumb that does nothing and a picture of a guitar pick with a line through it that I don't really want to press as I've no idea what it's for! Please put the old, non-intrusive graphic back - this especially good as it disappeared after a few seconds or you could close it yourself.
