Text colors
Presently, in turn-by-turn navigation, the distance until the next maneuver is in white an the name of the street/exit where that maneuver is to take place is in blue. The blue text is hard to read against a black background; and since the name of the street/exit is more important than the distance to it (IMO), I recommend switching these colors to show the street/exit name in white (and the distance in blue).

Fully agree, this is also a safety issue for everyone who must wear prescription sunglasses. The blue subtext is impossible to read if you're driving in the sun with sunglasses. White text was always fine before, why did they do this?

Blue text on Black background is causing me to be unsafe....to read it I have to remove my sunglasses and bring the phone up close to my eyes. This makes for a very unsatisfactory experience.

Very hard to. Read when there's glare and you're wearing sunglasses. Just fixing the black/blue (make the blue white or yellow) would be a big improvement.

ADA standards provide a minimum % contrast between the text color and the background color. This is to accommodate people with visual impairments such as color blindness.

I agree. The low contrast, blue text on black background is a classic graphic design error. I'm amazed this defect has endured so long.
