Only report and show hazards / etc on your side of the road
When viewing the map or receiving alerts, add an option to only report items on the side of the road you are driving and/or you are routed on. As a "reverse commuter" I constantly see hazards on my route but they are usually on the other side. It makes viewing the map for issues very difficult, almost unusable.

It would be better to have traffic jam in my way with 0% transparency and with 50% transparency in the other direction

Bonjour
Merci d'avance -

I do not understand why warnings appear on the map
and heavy traffic in the opposite direction? I enter my direction and I expect comments and notes only for my specified route. My suggestion is to mark these parts on the map in the opposite direction, but not to color them, leaving them in shade of gray or less pronounced color. -

option to show radar camera on the driving path only to reduce the appearance on the opposite road path.

Yes good idea

Those warnings are probably there because they removed the ability to report hazards on the opposite side of the road, or because some ppl don't know how to use the app.

By adding the information on possible traffic jams in the other direction you are helping other Waze users just as they would help you !!!

i am also a 'reverse commuter' as you put it and have never had this issue unless a wazer accidentally selects 'other side' for their report. this may however be due to changes made in the new 4.x version for iOS. the new version makes waze completely useless for those who rely on reports.
i've found a few feature requests related to this but the idea of this request goes beyond the scope of the subject line. Since the 4.x upgrade on iOS removing the ability to report events on the other side of the road, waze has become completely WORTHLESS. However, THEY ARE PUNISHING those of us who have NOT UPGRADED by not giving us our points for driving and reporting events even though other users can see them and thank us for them. Recently, before i downgraded back to 3.9.x, I was driving and noticed and accident and traffic completely stopped on the other side of the road. I was not able to alert other wazers to the situation because the option was removed from the new 4.x version. There were other wazers en route to that area but none there at the time so i was not able to help them because i was on the current 4.x version. Until it is restored, or they at lest restore our points, i'm staying on v3.9 so I can help other wazers (which used to be the purpose of this app) and will be getting my points through WME.

Today was my first time using Waze....what a bother to be preparing for a slow down, construction, accident whatever, only to get "there" and discover the hazard on the other side of the interstate......Could we get a "North, South, East, West" with the hazard so we could know if we were actually coming up to it or not?????

Waze keeps showing me traffic going against me. They should be showing the traffic going in my direction. I'm going to try alternative sites.
I'll let every know what results from my research -

Get rid of displaying opposing traffic. It's pointless and confusing.
