Make icons larger.
New version icons for haz and police are so small you have to zoom in to a small map grid to see them. When there is a problem wreck slow traffic police ahead you miss you last turnoff due to being zoomed in so close. Please give option to zoom out and still see critical icons

I must agree with this comment as I believe that attempting to read a message on my Ipad 4 screen mounted on the dash could lead to serious distraction resulting in a potential accident. Text should be legible clearly from a distance of 1 meter or so. Either have a zoom feature when tapping with finger on the text or offer various text sizes as an option.

Make the thumbs up and not there buttons on opposite sides of the screen. They are too small and require too much concentration to push while driving. If one button was on the left side and the other on the right side of the screen, it would take less focus away from driving.

On the new version, those buttons are not big enough or far enough apart for those of us with fat fingers. In Android, the "Thumbs Up" is to close to the "Go Back" button in landscape (the phone on its side) mode. I've accidentally closed Waze a coupla times...

I like the new 4.0 for Android, but have some suggestions:
1) Police icons need to be WAY more visible then small & faint light blue.
2) The Police report screen still has a "report later" box, but it is dim and too hard to see. Perhaps make it more visible?
3) The "Thumbs up/down" icons are brighter, but need to be larger. Still hard to accurately press.

Flash photography from inside a vehicle is useless. The default mode for the photographs should be flash OFF. This always adds two taps to any report I send.

Bring back the larger road report icons when zoomed out (or at least give me the option to). With version 4, the app is much harder to use unless you're zoomed way in, and this does not give you time to react to some things, like stopped traffic. When zoomed out a bit (which is how it's most practical to use the app on the interstate, for example), the new little dots are not intuitive (what side of the road is traffic on? or cops? or hazards?), hard to see, and cannot be clicked on unless I take my hands off the steering wheel and physically zoom way in to that area. That's poor UI, dangerous, and far worse than before.

Would it be possible to have larger buttons to press while driving after selecting Hazards?
I find while driving, I might accidentally tap the wrong hazard because of the proximity of the buttons.
Then if I do press the wrong hazard, instead of a back button, I have to REDO the entire process putting the hazard in the wrong location now. Or for safety reasons, taking my eyes too long off the road now, I will avoid reporting the hazard again altogether.
Larger report buttons and a back button after reporting of the hazard to reselect the correct hazard if chosen incorrectly.
For Example:
Hazard> Hazard on Shoulder> Vehicle stopped.
While driving, I accidentally tap the next one below "Animals."
There isn't a back button but I think to avoid this during bumpy rides is just overall larger buttons.
Thank you for the opportunity to suggest ideas.

write warning windows ("car standing dangerously at the side of the road") in bigger, bold letters. As they are now, they're small and gray and it's really difficult to read them, causing attention to roam from the driving itself to the little window - which in itself is dangerous. Make it really easy to read at a quick glance and look back at the road to see what you're warning about.

The alert icons and text font are ridiculously small on my Galaxy S4 - I have to crane my neck to the screen to see them. Oddly, when the alerts on a navigation route pop up on the initial preview, the series of alerts come through with fonts of a proper size... Why the tiny font for ad-hoc alerts that come up while driving?

Use of bigger icones for alerts. Small icon is difficult to distinguish among them for vision of older people. In my case it is hard to distinguish the alert icon when I am driving and using my glasses for miopia.

I concur. it is very annoying when you try to take a quick snapshot and the flash comes on!

Make it easier to snap a picture while moving and allow multiple pictures per report. Disable the flash by default because flash may bounce off of window, destroying the live picture.

The pop up obscures the window when trying to navigate. Particularly annoying when trying to see a turn. You can't close it unless you have tiny fingers. The little cross just isn't made for use while driving and the big "not there" button should be a close button as it is infrequently used. There should be a general "touch screen". To close on this sort of pop as it would be more intuitive and less dangerous. Thanks for listening.
