PLEASE remove the reporting of potholes -- This is driving me insane.
Hello,
Though I do believe the initial intentions of reporting potholes were genuine, it has become an absolute nightmare for regular wazers.
I live in a metropolitan area and, unfortunately, not many people in my area have any inclination on what a pothole actually is. This has led to people spamming the map with tens of pothole reports on any given stretch of road (usually the reports are for an uneven patch of road, or even a small bump in the road)...
I'm sure other will agree that this issue has led to, and will continue to lead to, alert fatigue. I'm beginning to not pay attention to my alerts.
Now, I do know that I can turn off "hazard" alerts altogether, but I don't want to... I think it's important to know about construction workers on the road ahead of me (for everybody's safety).
So with that I plead to you: PLEASE, for the love of god, turn off pothole alerts. PLEASE!

If the ability to turn this off is not added very soon, Waze gets permanently deleted. Every single type of warning should have its own toggle in settings.

IMO pothole alerts should be available, it’s the users that need to be educated as to what constitutes a dangerous pothole as opposed to a crack in the road. Maybe jus a rename of the function to Dangerous Pothole or something similar, with a popup message asking if it’s a pothole that represents a serious risk. Eg. about 6 months ago there was o hole in my area that shattered the front passengers wheel on 3 cars, so the function is a good idea just needs some fine tuning.

Just learning about Waze and can’t believe that they’ve covered the map with pot hole signs, they’re everywhere!

I second that emotion. It's Montreal. Every street has potholes. I also don't care about police, since I don't break the law.
