Mute all sounds in Waze, not just navigation.
A lot of times, while I'm listening to music, Waze will make a sound when I eat fruit or if it needs to recalculate the route I'm taking. However, if I'm going the wrong way and not able to safely use my phone, I do not want to be annoyed the whole time by the redirecting sound. If music is playing at the time, any sounds from Waze turn the music down temporarily. It makes me feel as if someone is about to call me.
Fixed in version 2.2 and onwards.

This has definitely not been fixed.

I don't think this is fixed in waze as of may 11th 2016. I still get recalculating/level up arcade noises when I have alerts only on.

I can't listen to Pandora and use Wase at the same time.... How can I disable ALL Waze sounds?

mute all sounds icon can be found on the menu bar itself with 3 options. its not intuitive, i only discovered it after months of using waze.

This is not fixed. Alerts ignore mute settings.

Same here, fruit eating still sounds loud and clear and the only way to avoid that is to unhook Bluetooth (so no phone calls) or not use Waze (not what waze wishes, I think). For reference, I use an iPhone 4 and haven't been able to find the option to turn off fruit eating sounds.

krankyd says it's fixed in 2.2 and onward, but I cannot seem to find any controls. Waze automatically mutes playing music and plays fruit or redirecting sounds much louder than music even though I have nav guidance turned off. Distracting for music and disruptive for podcasts. Would prefer non critical sounds to sound like background with desired sound at the forefront.

Totally agreed; this seems more like a bug and less like a feature request.

Same here, especially as I might want to actually listen to the radio instead of having the Bluetooth take over every minute for what amounts to a short beep.
