Bike trails serve as transportation networks, not just recreational routes. Therefore, it's important to communicate to riders about trail hazards that might effect their commute time such as high water on the trail causing need for reroute, areas where sight lines are restricted due to over growth of vegetation, fallen trees across the trail, security concerns, potholes and more.
